Life doesn’t always follow a straight path. At times, we can find ourselves overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating transitions we didn’t choose — like the loss of a loved one, changes in relationships, or the heavy weight of caregiving.
These moments shake our sense of stability and leave us feeling lost or unsure of how to move forward. Whether you are caught in old patterns, managing anxiety or depression, or just trying to make sense of change, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and regain your footing.
My approach is integrative. I see people as whole systems, not a list of symptoms. Physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual health are all connected. You're not broken. Something in the system may just need attention, so we look at the whole picture to find what's been neglected.
In addition to talk therapy, I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) — an innovative and research-backed approach that can be especially helpful for those who feel stuck despite their efforts in traditional therapy. If you're ready to explore new ways of healing and growth, KAP might be the next step. Learn more about KAP>>
My style is collaborative, grounded, and approachable. I show up as a real person in the room — offering warmth, honesty, and compassion. Change happens not only through insight but through genuine connection and trust.
If you're ready to start navigating life with more clarity and confidence, reach out — I’d be honored to work with you.
I grew up on a farm in North Dakota, surrounded by a big extended family and a farm community where people showed up for each other because they had to. Farming teaches you to problem-solve on the fly and to respect the cycles of life. I still lean on both.
As a teenager, I had a therapist who encouraged me to get my MSW. It stayed in the back of my head for years. I studied psychology as an undergrad, then took a job in community outreach for substance abuse prevention and education. I needed to live some life before I committed to this career, so I didn't go back for my master's until I had some work and life experience. While earning my MSW, I was an internal Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselor, and I've also spent time as a social worker in hospice and the NICU.
These days, I'm still happiest outdoors, now with my husband and our dog Ted.
